The real end of education is more to discipline one another than to furnish the mind to train it to the use of its powers, neither than fill it with the accumulation of others. 

Discipline not only means controlling the mind, the harnessing the powers of mental and physical nature but also implies learing with passion. 

Value of discipline can also be measured and calculated. Let us give graded memorial value of the Alphabet in the following Manner.

 A=1     B=2,    C=3     etc……………….

 Now:-  D         =            4

            I           =           9

            S         =          19

            C         =            3

            I           =           9

            P         =          16

            L          =          12

            I           =           9

            N         =          14

            E         =            5

            Total  =       100

It means that Discipline’ is 100 percent, important, indispensable and valuable.
